  1. Im sure he will.  99.9% of the time when a champion signs a contract for a title defense one of the stipulations is he has the option to take a rematch before the other fighter fights again if the champ loses.  That is usually the only way champions agree to fight.  Now with the way Dana White runs the UFC and his fighters, who knows how much latitude the fighters have with the contracts.  I would bet though, we see a rematch of Forrest and Rampage before either one of them fights another fight.

  2. probably so

  3. Probably but not right away. I think the victor of the Liddell Evans fight will get the title shot.

  4. yes as a matter of fact.

it was said that they were because everybody thought rampage should have won!

  5. haha No.

  6. prob in a year or so if forest has the belt still.

i hope it happens too so i can see rampage get his @$$ kicked again!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Funny,I made a topic about Rampage Vs Forrrest, everyone said Rampage would win,now he loses and suddenly everyone says Oh forrest will pwn them all. just stfu. Rampage wont want a rematch.

  8. mabe, but he should have to face wandi again, the winner of that fight should fight the winner of chuck and evens then that winner should get a title shot.

  9. i hate automatic rematches.

if they had one and Forrest pulled out another win that would seriously hurt rampages career. if griffin loses then you need a third fight rematch and then there is a fight trilogy that helps people look past the rest of the division.

if Evans beats liddell he would be a good contender for the belt but I think chuck needs to win at least one or two more fights before he should get one. other than that they need to do some serous elimination fights. ther are to many names looking for the belt and it needs to be trimmed down

  10. It depends.

If Liddell beats Rashard Evans at UFC 88, that would probably make Liddell the number one contender and line up a fight for early 2009, pending major injuries to either fighter. If Rashard Evans wins, Rampage will still be the number one contender and would probably get the rematch.

That is the short and simple version of it.

If Anderson Silva looks good in his fight on the 19th he could vacate his 185 lb division and move up. Since he is already a dominant champion he wont have to work through the division, most likely 2 wins and he is in the title fight.

Guys like Lyoto Machida and Shogun could also go on a quick spree and slide right in.

That said, dont hold your breath...
