One of the cores of conservatism is to stand by the father figure that thinks he knows best and attack anyone that presents evidence of guilt before that proof can weaken the strong protectionist, commander in chief image that conservatives rely on especially in times of fear. Will they except her to lead the military should McCain`s health go down hill.

  1. she has an over and 80% approval rating in the state.......i think that's the best in the country....and this is a very conservative state...

  2. YES!

  3. They will because they don't care about America.

  4. I'd rather take that chance than see Obama get his chance to prove his incompetence.  THAT scares me half to death!

  5. Too much indoctrination on part of your college professor!

Why are Evangelicals so motivated now b/c of Palin???  Aren't Christians suppossed to be all about women in the kitchen?

Liberals.  UPDATE your beliefs about Conservatives...it's not what you think it is.

It's always about who represents solid conservative, less government, values.  Conservatives don't care about race or gender or age.  Deliver the right message and you're in.

  6. She is a far right winged conservative, a good choice for the Republican base but not for Hilary's supporters, they will reject her

  7. Yes, because Palin is actually MORE conservative than McCain.

  8. I would welcome Palin as next President of the United States.  She has made conservative Republicans take a more positive look at the Republican ticket.

  9. I don't see how they would have a problem considering Palin seems a lot more conservative than McCain.

  10. Yes we will. Her child is going to Iraq in a few weeks. That right there is a sense that she will want to make sure the military will have what it needs, just like McCain.

  11. Yes

She will have The Pentagon, CIA, FBI, Defense Committee there to support her. Just like Obama, and McCain will have.

I dont trust Obama in charge of our military, he is still threatening to invade a Nuclear country, when that country gave us permission to bomb, but not enter.

Obama scares me as commander and Chief, Palin does not. She will listen to the experts, she will listen to General Pertraeus, Obama will not.

Hands down, I trust McCain more, and I trust Biden more to make decision on there own.

I dont trust Obama, or Palin to make a decision on there own.

Fortunately for all of us, the President, and Vice President is not alone.

  12. I think what you allude to is preemptive strike.  No I don't think she would do that she thinks things out first.  I'm an Obama supporter that appreciates this woman's attributes.  She's working class that has done it not talked about it.

  13. Reminds me of the pilot episode for "Commander in Chief"

    http://www.tv.com/commander-in-chief/sho...

  14. Of course they would.

They would rather have a sportscaster journalist at the helm of this country than a brilliant Harvard trained legal mind.

And I say to that: You get what you deserve.

  15. Now I've seen everything....

You are right brethren...but then everything in America runs like a tv show, including it's politics.

    McShame, shame, shame.

  16. Yes.  I will accept Palin as commander in chief.  Your idea of what is one of the cores of conservatism is wrong.

    j

  17. The word is 'accept'.  And the conservatives are fired up.  McCain just sealed the deal with the right.  He can campaign to the middle.

    Obama promises change, McCain delivers.

  18. Conservatives love her but I'm not ready to see America get taken over by some crazy Christian woman that wants creationism taught in schools. Not to mention she'd tear up alaska to feed her oil addiction.

  19. Really? I'm a conservative woman from a long line of conservatives and I have never heard that "father knows best and attack...."

What we rely on in times of fear and times that aren't fearful, is a person who has strong convictions, strong ethics, and a strong character. We rely on someone who will hold fast to the principals established by our founding fathers (yes they were men). And she has proved to be just that.

History is filled with strong women, women military leaders, who clung to their values with a baby on one hip and a sword in the other.

Don't presume to know the core vales of conservatives unless you ask. Your statement has nothing to do with out values and only with your stereotypes.

  20. Palin has a very short, but very Conservative record.

  21. Palin has done awesome work in a short time.  If she had to be our President I think she would be awesome.  She would be a good listener from all the advisors and make a decision that would be safe for our country

  22. I don't know if I can substantiate or question the definition of a " real conservative ", and that is not my place however I personally believe we have a fighting chance now and a renewed resurgence of optimism without being talked down to or obliterated into a fantasy world of " kiss and make up, it'll be all better- with a band-aid " mentality.

I accept her and respect McCain's decision.

    McCain/Palin08

  23. She is already commander of the Alaskan National Guard.  I trust her more than Obama who wants to attack Pakistan and talk to Iran, lol.

  24. You clearly haven't a clue about conservatism.  From what I know of her I'd support her; but not McCain.

  25. Of course, she has a strong Conservative record and views.  However, I think you either do not fully understand conservative views, or you are choosing to spin it in a way that serves your own purpose.  What you are defining as conservatism is not quite right (pun intended).
