Will real estate prices fall or rise next year?

i live in glendale, ca and i just want to know will the house prices fall or rise next year and are prices decreasing now

i want to buy a home and i want a good deal

I think you can find good deals because of all the foreclosures.  Otherwise, I don't think they'll fall that much more but I don't think they'll go up for at least another couple of years.  Loans have gotten hard to get so be sure your credit is in excellent shape and that you have a down payment.

If anybody really knew what prices would do next year, they would be out making deals themselves, not telling you about it.  But they don't know.  It's a guess, even for smart people.

Here comes the Great Depression part 2. The housing market will crash furthur.

Nationwide, prices will fall 12-15%

More than that in California, Florida, & Nevada

(they had the highest appreciation)

A good indicator is the supply vs. demand

Look at how many houses are for sale in your area

Look into # of houses sold each year

Here in Central FL, we have 24K listings, & only 4K are sold per year. So we have 6 yrs of inventory. What does that mean? Prices will continue to drop until the over-supply becomes equal to the demand.

DON"T BELIEVE WHAT ANY REALTOR TELLS YOU - they will get dollar signs in their eyes when you ask them that question, & tell you "NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY!!!"

You can find a foreclosure, but why buy one now when prices still have not bottomed out? WAIT! Things will be VERY DIFFERENT in 6 months. MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN A RECESSION-PROOF LINE OF WORK!!!

I think it will go back up sometime in January, but will be several years before going back to where it was.

I don't think real  estate prices will rise next year.for more information you can go for www.forallhouses.info .In present scenario the real estate business is going through some downfall,so its buyer's time now.Hence you no need to worry about prices.
