Will retail stores such as clothing departments, best buy hire high schoolers with no work exp?

just a question... because i applied to several places including fast food as well (subway, burger king). im 16 and still in high school. its not a major concern to me but i just wanna get some work ethic so i thought why not start over summer.

Dude, if they have enough openings or if they are desperate enough to hire, they will hire you.  You might be cleaning toilets though...

IF THEY CAN HIRE FOREIGNERS WITH NO EXPERIENCE AND LITTLE ENGLISH I DON'T SEE WHY THEY SHOULDN'T HIRE YOU.

Many retail clothing stores will hire students as they can usually get them for a good pay (means low).  Many students get their start in retail stores. Helps the stores to manage labour costs and pay those high mall charges.  Try several and keep your hopes up.  A positive attitude helps a lot!

If possible work weekends, and some nights during the week and watch your language when dealing with everyone (even your friends when they visit the store).
