Will roundup (glyphosate) poison a lamb

Our 2 month old lamb was seen eating grass that had been sprayed with roundup a few days before, will she be alright?

  1. If the lamb ate only a little bit it will probably be ok.  You should probably call the vet for advice though.  


  2. Should be fine. They eat waaaaay worse than that in the paddock.

    Just keep a close eye on it for signs that it's kidneys or liver aren't working such as no urination or pooing.

  3. According to my vet, roundup is one of the more safe herbicides, and is supposed to be safe for pet/human exposure after 48 hours.  So if a few days had passed between spraying and the lamb eating the grass, you should be fine.
