I really hope he does. Sachin (age:35) is a great player and I believe if he is fit he can play for a long time. Most of the players in the Aus team are in their thirties and look how well they are doing. Matthew Hayden(36),Andrew Symonds(33), Ricky ponting(33), Brett lee(31).

Sanath Jayasurya(39) is the best example to make people realise that age does not matter that much as long as the player is fit.

Well, perhaps he will. Atleast the great cricketer still wants to play till 2011 World Cup, and there is nothing which stops him from doing so, barring his fitness problems. The selectors still have kept the confidence in him, by incorporating him in the ODI squad, but he himself pulled out of the ODI series in Sri Lanka. Hopefully, his enormous talent will be able to compensate for his shortcomings in fitness, so that he may be able to serve the Indian team till the end of the 2011 World Cup.
