Will science and technology solve all of our problems?

Is there a need to examine carefully the allegations of the "technilogical optomists" who assure us that science and technology will always solve all of our problems of population growth, food, energy and resources?

  1. Psh, it never will.. but it most certainly may come close.


  2. The answer your looking for is yes.

    But the actual answer is no.

    There is no forseeable consequences to technology.

    I dont know if it can solve every problem,

    but it certaintly cant hurt to try.

  3. Yes because every solution ever implemented is a function of science and/or technology.

    Even solutions that don't look scientific, such as political solutions, have a basis in math and/or science.

    Think about every solution ever made for any problem.  Science had a hand in it.
