Question:

Will science ever have the same rights as Christianity?

In Creationism according to Genesis, God created the Earth in seven days, yet science says that the Earth was formed over millions of years. The laws of Physics forbid something to be made from nothing, as it happened in Genesis.

At the beginning of time there was only Adam and Eve. Are we all in-bread? Surely evolution makes more sense.

Why don't science and Christianity have equal rights?

The word 'God' is spelt with a capital G, as is Genesis.

Why isn't evolution spelt with a capital E?

Christianity is spelt with a capital C so why isn't science spelt with a capital S?

Does religion have the 'copyright' for the term 'church'? There are no 'Churches of Science.' I would imagine there would be a big argument if a Church of Science did open.

Do you think science and Christianity should have equal political rights? Will religion always win? Could the two beliefs SOMEHOW be united in your mind or do they mix like oil and water?

  1. I believe that you are confused as to what the bible really is.

The Bible was written by the porphets of God to help human's at the time understand the nature of things. People back then did not know what an electron or a quasar was, they didn't understand that galaxies, solar systems and planets are formed from mass dust clouds compacted by gravity. What they could understand was what is written, that was the limit of their thinking. If the Bible had been written today, it would contain more scientific proporties and descriptions. This is why scolars interpret the Bible differently, but agree on the underlying message.

And for those who believe that science and religion are incompatible, you are grossly miss-informed. They both strive to answer fundemental questions for us and close gaps in knowledge, however contrary to popular belief, they do NOT go about it in different ways. Science is incredibly biblical, though in a different sense. Both originate around the singularity, and almost every scientific theory or fact was based off of or confirmed through biblical teachings. The Big Bang theory was propsed by the Catholic Church as a matter of a fact, and many influencial scientists, no almost ALL influencial scientists were religious. Albert Einstein was Jewish, Stephen Hawking and Edward Hubble are Deists, Issac Newton and Leonardo Da Vinvi are Christian, Georges Lematire was a Catholic Monk, even Charles Darwin was christian. To say the tow are not compatible is like denying the teachings of these listed and many more influencial people.

As a Creation-Evolustionist, I'm actually offended yyou people think that. And science and Religion have all the same rights, its name is not capitalized because it chooses not to, and there is no REAL church of Science (scientology does not count) because most scientists are affiliated with other religions.
