5'2 before surgery and now 5'3 after surgery ?

  3. Of course not. It will enable you to grow normally.

  4. My surgeon said that the fused part of my spine won't grow, but the rest of me might well (I'm 18, so I don't have much growth left)

    You would need to ask your surgeon though to get a proper answer.

  5. You will continue growing except for the part of the spine that is now fused.  Of course, if you're done growing then you're done growing.  You didn't say how old you are or if you still have some growing to do.
