that is the whole purpose, to hire teens, have them try to purchase cigarettes and alcohol, and then either reward or reprimand the clerk who performed the sale or didn't. i have worked in retail for years, we are being tested constantly by the state, the county and internally from the company, they want to catch you slipping up so they can weed out the clerks that sell to underage persons, so yes, they will hire teens, especially teens that look older than they really are

I doubt it.  Most stuff that is like that is most likely 18+.  They have to make sure they can depend on you.
