help me loose weight when i do it i sweat alot and etc.

i think its called shadow boxing when u punch in the mirror for

pratice befor you start hitting the bag.(at a boxing gym)

if so i will do it at home in my back yard but thats it.i will have to to other stuff at the gym.hope it dose.?dose it?

  1. The single biggest factor to weight loss is diet.  What you eat in combination with sensible exercise usually does the trick.  Shadow boxing is just another form of aerobic work out and is no more beneficial than any other form of work out, running or swimming are just as good if not better alternatives, but if you don't monitor you diet closely it won't matter much what you do for exercise.


  2. Depends mate. If you do it for 3 minute phases and keep a constant pace for a minute then up the pace every mminute e.g. medium pace 1st min, fast pace 2nd min, very fast pace 3rd min. And do that 5 times. But make sure your form is correct when you punch cause this causes you to concentrate more and sweat more plus helps your form and creates more movement.

  3. Shadow boxing wont do c**p. its just to practice on your technique.

    what you want to do if you want to lose weight is to do a lot of cardio ie. running, bike machines, swimming, spanking the monkey haha jk.  

    The heavy bag is good too, just make sure you know what your doin, caus youll injure your hand

    but real talk you need to get your heart rate up and burn calories so cardio is your best bet also lift weights so you can get toned and defined. Eat smaller portions of food less fat foods wont hurt either.

    To lose weight it takes disipline,  commitment and will power which most people dont have that why there fat asses

  4. You will lose more weight when you hit a punching bag.  Shadow boxing is good but a real punching bag is better.

  5. It works your muscles and trains you better if you're hitting a bag, howeva shadow boxing is a great workout if you don't have all the stuff you need to hit bags.

    don't worry about dieting or losing weight it won't help you. focus on living a healthy lifestyle. if you need to lose weight for a specific fight then do this over a long period of time, not all at once b/c doing that takes away from your strength and is unhealthy to lose too much weight to quickly.
