Will shaving take tan away!?

i just got tan from the beach but my legs were like hairy so if i shave them now would the tan go away? yeah this question sounds really stupid but yeahh jw...

any type of exfoliation such as shaving will yes. Just moisturize everyday, that will help preserve the tan

no, cause your skins tan so it wont rub off or anything. however, skin cells only last 2 to 32 days. so your tan will start to fade in those days, but not cause of shaving.

I actually do think it does, but gradually though. When I came back from Jamaica I had a great tan and then after shaving a few times I noticed it was fading.

Shaving removes hair, not your layers of skin!

The tan is in the skin.

Go ahead and shave, you will still be nice and golden brown.

I think it would only take away a "fake" tan from lotion. So you're safe, but you might loose SOME of the color.

nooo!! even waxing doesnt, i was so tanned and yesterday i went to a spa for waxing and thought the same thing but nothng changed lol
