Will shawn johnson be in the 2020 olympics?

no way! by that time she'll be 30. That lady from Romania competed in olympic gymnastics this year and she's like 35, but I HIGHLY doubt Shawn will be in the 2020s.  She isn't even 100% sure she wants to do the next olympics, although she probably will. =) yay go Shawn!!!

Highly doubtful! She may be in 2012, she isn't sure yet for that even.

yes, no, maybe. seriously, how are we meant to know?! thats in 12 years so anything could happen in the mean time. if she maintains her career, skill and ability then yes she may well be in the 2020 games. but anything could happen, she may have an accident...she may not be picked for the team...why dont you just wait to watch her in 2012 cos im pretty sure she will be at the next Olympics at least. lets take things one Olympics at a time!

I hope she doesn't even go to the 2012 Olympics. Gymnastics puts a lot of strain on one's body, especially with all of the lands from the flips. If she keeps putting this strain on her body, there will be severe consequences in the future, such as weaker bones and damaged limbs. Although I revere Shawn Johnson for her will to push her body to its limits and to represent the United States, I don't think its a good idea for her to keep training so hard. I don't want to see such an achiever ruin the rest of her life simply to make her hometown even more famous than it already is.
