Will sheep eat my lavender plants?

Question

Thinking of planting a container grown lavender hedge, but we get the occassional visit from the neighbouring sheep! Will they eat lavender or find it to fragrant?

I think you will be OK. I have seen wild lavender in fields with sheep and it appeared to be untouched. I think they prefer grass.
