  1. It is my understanding that stretch marks never "go away" but you can make them fade.  If you have the money to buy all the creams made specifically for "scar treatment" those products are great.  Plain old Cocoa Butter is great thought and probably the best and good for all parts of the body, not just those with stretch marks.

My suggestion would be just go buy a bottle/jar of Cocoa Butter.

  2. people get stretch marks when they lose weight too. it's not from being too big, it's from gaining or losing weight too fast. put vitamin E on them and they will fade. I had some that have faded to almost nothing without doing anything.

  3. The stretches won't disappear in the short term, but should diminish gradually over a couple of years. There are such things as "Bio-Oil is today available in 17 countries, is the No.1 selling scar and stretch mark product in 14 of these 17 markets, and is one of the fastest growing skincare brands worldwide."

Individuals respond differently to therapies and some people don't need any treatment. Hopefully the stretches will be the same colour as the surrounding skin, and very hard to notice.

  4. Losing weight won't make them go away, you have to use a scar healing cream like Maderma or something similar. A vitamin E cream used at night will do a little to help but if you look really closely, you will always see something there, but the Maderma will help a lot.
