Will soda like Coke really kill rats?

Question

Theory: Put out a fresh plate of Coke or another soda and when the rats drink it they die from now being able to burp.

I keep hearing about this and some say its BS and some say they really have killed their rats with this. Come on people...has anyone REALLY done this and seen it happen?

That's interesting, I want to see that happen, but it does sound like it could, never tried though sorry.

Absolutely, if they drink too much of it.  You see, rats can't f**t and they will eventually explode.
