Will someone please explain who the Kardashians are and why are they popular?

I do know they have a cable show (the father looks familiar). Was he an actor on an old TV show or in sports?

I watch a lot of TV and go to lots of movies but WHO THE HECK ARE THEY??

What makes them popular enough for a TV show?? Besides her big chubby Booty.

Her stepdad was an olympic gold medalist like a decade ago.

Her real dad was a lawyer in the OJ case.

Her brother is dating a Cheetah Girl.

She seems like a stuck up little ***** to me with no real talent. I think her step father is Bruce Jenner.  I wish MTV & VH1 would get rid of this show as well as any of the other so called reality shows.  Rock of love, I love NY etc. I remember back in the day when MTV & VH1 were good tv stations cause they always played music videos
