Will spray-paint lacquer protect the underside of a skateboard deck?

  1. Skateboard decks are fairly disposable items. If you really skate your deck will be trash in a few months. Lacquer won't stop scrapes and gouges. Focus on your skating and forget about the deck, and be sure to wear a helmet and pads.


  2. It may but it also might mess up the graphic.  I know that there is something called sliptape that is made to protect the bottom of the board.
