Will sprinkling baking soda on the carpet and vacuuming it help clean the cats smell on the carpet?

  1. Not sure what kind of cat smell your referring to, I have 2 outdoor and indoor cats and they don't smell. However our dog is the smelly one. I use baking soda all the time on our carpet I let it set for a couple of minutes before I vacuum it all up!!! It also makes our vacuum cleaner bag smell fresh instead of stale air.


  2. use a pet deodorizer cleaner its specifically make for that i use simply solutions it works great on pet odors i get it at petsmart and it has a nice fragrance.  

  3. Add 1/2 water 1/2 lysol or pinsol in a sprat bottle sprat carpets let dry then the next day sprinkle baking soda then vaccume!

  4. Yes but make sure you vacuum up ALL of the baking soda.

  6. Let it sit for a bit, and it will work better. :)
