when i was about 14 years old i started eating excessively and gained weight very fast. i got stretch marks all across my stomach, my inner thighs, the back of my calfs and my upper arms. i lost weight and the stretch marks faded to a silvery white colour. they are less noticeable but still visable. i am now 16 and i still need to lose about two stone more and was wondering if the stretch will ever completely disappear

  1. Fresh stretch marks appear initially as red lines and then slowly fade to a pale white color over the course of several months. Below is the link regarding Stretch Marks.

  2. There is a lot of stretch mark treatment available on the market these days. Some treatments are more effective in fading or even eliminating stretch marks, but the success of the treatment depends on a few different things. First of all is the color and age of the stretch marks. If they have faded to a flesh color they are much harder to heal. Second of all, ethnicity and heredity play a role in which creams, oils and other products or equipment will succeed in healing stretch marks.

The cheapest stretch mark treatment available is creams made especially for stretch marks. The most effective creams contain ingredients such as cocoa butter, lanolin and wheat germ oil. These creams actually heal and rebuild the damaged skin. While they may not be able to completely eliminate stretch marks, they may at least make the stretch marks fade to a barely visible scar. A good recommendation will be Palmer Cocoa Butter Cream.

Another popular & effective cream that you might wish to consider is Strivectin. It has a bioactive topical formula that has a combination of skin firming agents to reduce visible wrinkles and make skin appear firmer

  3. no, unless they are red (new stretch marks). red marks can be treated with creams and lessen. unfortunately they are there to stay.  there are a ton of remedies but they don't work ask any md. there are new expensive treatments like laser that help fade them.  also its hereditary some people will get them just from growing.

  4. yeah they will but only if u wash your face with cold water then with hot it closes porse and keeps your skin right and firm

  5. First off, don't listen to Broly105 - pores can't open and close, they are always open. and stretchmarks have nothing to do with pores either.

I have used wheatgerm oil on my stretchmarks, and it has faded them quite a bit

  6. they wont disapear but they'll just fade out the reason why is because ur skin has been permantly stretch out
