Will sydney fans support the swans when the new team enters the comp?

the swans are on the way down and out will they still follow the losers or jump ship and follow the westies

There shouldn't be a team in West Sydney at all. The Swans hardly have enough supporters, and adding another team up there is a disaster waiting to happen.

Who knows what will happen though - I suppose it will be like when Freo and Port joined.l

Good question. With such a fickle lot as in Sydney, how can you get AFL support for TWO teams????? It, a no win for AFL. Go to Tassie.

Yeaa AND they have the most boring tactics. Besides Essendon vs Sydney i don't really watch Sydney play at all.

Nah i dont think so , they will stick with their team. The swans may have had one loss this week that exposed their older players but it dont mean that the club is over - like their chances of finals wont fade but they need to get some younger players in the side!

**I guess only time will tell if they don't jump ship.  You'd hope that they wouldn't, they'd stick by their team through the good and the bad but human nature would suggest you'd get a fair few who might jump.

I would not be surprised if they did. The same thing happened in Adelaide & Perth.

True one-eyed Crows supporters dropped them like hot cakes when Port entered the competition. The same thing happened with many WCE supporters when Fremantle entered.

They could not have been true supporters to abandon their team when another came along. Pretty weak I thought.

I would sure hope so, because everyone knows if you change teams your not a real supporter. I think the West Sydney team will be a disaster waiting to happen. They should look into a Tasmanian team before even considering another team in New South Wales.

Sidnee people will jump like rats from a sinking ship, you only have to look at the pathetic crowds they get to there beloved NRL to realize that!!
