Will taking 2 benadryls make me fall asleep?

I go back to school tomorrow and I will not be able to sleep because i've been sleeping at 2:00 this whole week. will taking 2 benadryls make me fall asleep?

Yes, but only take one!  They are strong, and may knock you out more than you want.  I think it would be better to just be tired tomorrow and get a good night's sleep the next night, rather than overdo the drugs.

i've taken benadryl for allergies, and after about 20-25 minutes i can't keep my eyes open. haha. :]

Benedryl affects everyone differently some it makes sleepy others it makes them really wired and awake.

First of all, it usually takes people about 2-3 days to fully change their sleeping pattern (for example those who work night shift who switch to day shift.)

My recommendation is instead of taking benadryl try taking dramamine (or Gravol in Canada).  It is used for motion sickness and nausea however, it also has an effect to calm nerves and help relax and sleep.  My grandmother used to have bad nerves and used an anti nauseateto sleep.  

Not only that but if you have allergies, taking benedryl when it is not needed may increase your resistance to the medication making it less effective when you actually need to take it for its purpose.    

Make sure in the morning before you get ready for school to have a meal that is high in protein such as peanut butter or scrambled eggs.  It is proven that protein helps the brains neurotransmitters to function more efficiently.
