I've heard that you should know the human body as this is covered on the test. I received a B/A- in Biology 2(H) as a sophomore. As a junior, I will have Biology AP and Honors Chemistry the first semester, then Anatomy and Physiology AP the following term. Would this better prepare me for the Biology AP exam? Altogether, I'm taking: Physics[switching to Pre-calculus(H)], Trigonometry, US History, Spanish 3(H), and Eng 3AP. BTW, my school is the 4x4 block schedule.

P.S. I got an A+(97.02%) in Algebra 2 Honors, so this is why I am doubling up on math. Afterwords, I would like to take AP Calculus AB and BC as senior, along with Statistics AP.

  1. i dont think so, anatomy and phys require some knowledge of biology.

  2. if you can, i would definately reccommend takng ap biology both semesters. yes, the human body is covered on the exam but that is only a small portion. my ap biology class only covered the human body for the last 3 weeks. we did 3 chapters a week because we were running out of time. i still got a 5 on the exam because there was a lot of plant and cellular material on the exam as well. there was definately more plant material on it then body systems. all together, it would help but i would take 2 full semesters of ap biology because they will cover body systems in that class.

  3. there's AP anatomy and physiology? i have never heard of it.

sure, anatomy and physiology would help you in bio. it's part of biology. just study and you will do fine.
