  1. nope! sorry.!

those are just vitamins that help prevent birth defects.

  2. No it wont help you get pregnant but it helps your body to get ready to carry a baby and it also prevents baby getting spina bifida (soz cant spell it)!!!!!

  3. No,  but it is highly recommended that you start taking it prior to pregnancy as this helps to stave off birth defects like spinabifida (sp) and others that are related to the brain, spine and neurological system.  Good luck on getting pregnant!  Also remember to up your vitamin intake prior to getting pregnant because if you start with a deficiency it is very hard to make it up while carrying.

  4. Folic Acid prevents some major, nasty spinal diseases. These are caused very early on in pregnancy, often before a women even knows she's pregnant. That's why you need to take it before you start trying.

In short, it won't actually 'make' you pregnant. But if you were to get pregnant while taking Folic Acid, it might stop a spinal issue. Many of these spinal issues result in miscarriage when the body realizes that the fetal spinal cord/column isn't viable. So it could 'keep' you pregnant with a pregnancy that might fail if you weren't on the vitamins.

Not sure if this explains it very well....

  5. No but it is good to take if you are planning on getting pregnant or during pregnancies. It will help stop birth defects .People with sickle cell and low blood  iron also takes it.
