Will teeth whitening clear the white spots on my teeth?

My teeth are a bit yellower then some white spots on the bottom of some of my front teeth. Will teeth whitening from the dentist clear these spots? How much will this cost me?

  2. only if you whiten for a very long time.  If you just whiten a little bit it will actually make them stick out more.  This is because these white spots tend to be less dense so the bleach gets into them better and so it whitens them faster than the rest of your tooth.  If you hang in there though eventually they will reach maximum whiteness and the rest of your tooth will catch up making them look less noticable.  The best way to do it is to get take home bleaching trays from your dentist and wear them every night until you get the results you want, it will probobly take a month or more of nightly bleaching.  The cost will like be around $500 maybe more depending on how many times you need to buy more bleaching gel (one round of gel usually lasts 2 weeks, then after that you can buy a refill of the gel and just keep using the same trays)
