  1. I don't think any horse would have a shot at winning breaking from post 20.

  2. no they are going to the front with him thats why they chose that post but colonel john will pass him before the wire. I hope and my landlord hopes so as well

  3. I really hope not.  I think it could hurt him some, but this is it:  It is do or die time.  The jockey can make all the difference in the world and Kent D. is a good jocket.  Look for Kent to hold back this horse in the first of the race, and really push him the last 1/2 mile or so. My horse Gayego is right beside him, and I hope the 2 don't tie up.  Overall, I'd say Big Brown won't be hurt since Desomereux is one heck of a jockey with a 3-1 horse.

  4. I think it will.  But I also thought the Big Brown worship would die down with him breaking from the parking lot, but it seems to have gotten worse.  I know, he broke from post 12 in the Florida Derby, but I didn't see an auxiliary gate in that race nor did I see any serious competition.

  5. I don't think the post will be a problem.  It keeps him from all the chaos of the first turn.  Settle down then blow them all away from the 3/4 pole.

I also think that he could start from the parking lot and still win.

  6. I worried about people yelling from the grandstand area, since he's all the way outside.

He's got the SPEED to Clear the field, we'll see!
