  1. So it seems we are all asking the same question! Sadly, there is one answer. NO :(

You will only be able to see the eclipse if you live in northern Maine. It stinks, but it's true. Hopefully next time it can be seen from everywhere in the USA!

    Keep your fingers crossed!

  2. Nope. In fact the next eclispe seen fron the U.S. will be in 2017

  3. nope you won't be able to see it. sorry.

  4. There is going to be one, but it probably won't be visible in Michigan.  If I remember correctly, it is to be at 9:18 PM GMT'

"The Solar Eclipse that takes place on August 1, 2008, will be a total eclipse of the Sun with a magnitude of 1.039 that will be visible from a narrow corridor through northern Canada (Nunavut), northern part of Russia, western Mongolia, and China. It belongs to the so-called midnight Sun eclipses, as it will be visible from regions experiencing Midnight sun.

A partial eclipse will be seen from the much broader path of the Moon's penumbra, including eastern North America and most of Europe and Asia."

  5. Doesn't sound likely.....here's that article to tell you when and where....
