  1. that means they've won 4 of the last 6 games. thats not such a bad record when you think about it

the only reason i want collingwood in the finals is so maybe the crows can face them, and the crows would beat the c**p outta them

  2. Based on the past 2 games...definately NO!

It frustrates me to tears that they lose the most winnable games, and then pull out miracle wins against Geelong...

On paper, we have an awesome, talented strong side, fantastic coaching team, the best club rooms - yet they fall over and lose to the friggin Blues twice.  Just doesnt make sense.

I predict they will finish 6th and maybe get into the semi-finals..

  3. You're right, no where near good enough.

If Collingwood won some of their winnable games, like two against the Blues and the Roos, and the one against the Dons, they would have been in the four.

Collingwood are inconsistent, and for some reason, only win when they are underdogs, not when they are favourites!

    It is very frustrating!

To answer your question, I don't think they can make the four, but I think they can make the eight (well I HOPE they can make the eight!).

EDIT: "I can't Handle the Truth", your wishes have come true - Lonie's in for Wakelin. They dropped Wood and Johnson, and R. Shaw's injured! Argh!

  4. No they have lost form, Other teams will kill them in the finals and I don't see why they are stuffing up? They have a good team, there a good club lots of money so what's there downfall? The top 4 will be Geelong, Dogs, Hawks and Sydney I think Collingwood need to improve massively if they want to have a chance in the finals

  5. If they keep playing the way they have the past 2 weeks then NO.

Collingwood have shown they can mix it with the top team, but the fall against sides they should be beating, that sort of form doesn't stand up in September

  6. they seem to be playing about 30 per cent below their best, certainly they don't have Rocca but there doesn't seem to be any other big fella going for gold either, all their best men are little fellas by AFL standards.

Essendon beat them because of Lloyd, Hille and Fletcher the big guns.Had to - so many of our little blokes are out. Reimers was good and so was Welsh but they needed DH to tap to them!

I think if the Maggies try hard they may make 5th, but if not, the Liars and Crows teams are waiting with open jaws for their spot.

  7. No. Way they are too full of themselves. Too concerned with individual statistics than playing the team game. They are being showed up by the teams who do use teamwork & while the team is being coached by Malthouse they will never achieve success.

  8. I hope so mate.

But yeah you are right. Even Malthouse is starting to worry.

Tomorrow night is a huge test. It is their season tomorrow.

What a shocking opponent to have to overcome. They need to drop Wakelin and get Lonie in the side. But the midfield is just average.

Come on Pies, get some legs!
