Will the Alpine MRP-M650 go good with the 12" Alpine Type R sub at 4 ohms?

If you have the 2 ohm DVC version of the Type-R, you'll be fine.

Just be sure to adjust the gain right.

The purpose of the gain is to match the signal volts RMS coming from the source (CD player, etc.) to the input of the amp to prevent clipping (damage by over powering).

You'll need a multi-meter (AC voltmeter, $15 from Radio$hack), Microsoft Excel and a way to burn an audio CD from an MP3.

maybe not

ur sub is too strong

u might need to put it up and might mess ur unit up

especially if ur using two subs
