Without their Overrated QB, the Colts are going 0-1. Then San Diego and New England, who they rarely beat makes it 0-3. The Jags and Titans will be tough 2-5, OUCH!!! 1 more loss and they're 10-6 Wild Card - Best Case Scenario. That's if they're lucky and the Bears defense doesn't put Manning out for the year if he tries to play.

  1. No, and they won't go 0-3 either. Peyton will probably be back by week 2.

  2. Well I sorry to disappoint you but It won't happne cause even without Peyton, they have no chance to Beat the Colts My predication Colts 24-7

If Peyton didn't play on week 2 vs Viking which it will be a good game, I say it would be close but Viking would win 17-10

If he didn't return week 2 THEN HE WILL MOST LIKELY RETURN WEEK 3 sorry man

1-1 for a colt without Peyton

  3. Almost no chance.

Even if Manning is not sharp, they will put up enough points to hold off the Bears meager offense.

It would take a horribly sloppy game out of the Colts, and a few magical special teams plays by the Bears to even make this a close game.

    I predict 27-10 Colts.

  4. Yeah, what he said ^^^

  5. no way

    the colts will win

  6. Are you kidding?  Look at the Colts record over the last past 4-5 seasons for about their first 12 games of the season.  They rarely lose in their first several games.  They have the best winning percentage by far for the first several games all the way through September.  In the last several years they have not lost a single game from the beginning of the season all the way through September.

And a Bears fan has nothing to say when their best quarterbacks are quarterbacks like Grossman and Orton, two of the worst in the NFL.  Heck, even if Manning doesn't play, I think Indy's backup Sorgi could beat either one of them.

If you are using the preseason as a judge of whether the Colts are bad this year, you are figuring wrong.  I've found that the teams that normally lose in the preseason normally do very well (just the opposite) in the regular season.  The year the Colts won the Superbowl they lost every preseason game.

The Colts were one of the last 2 undefeated teams left when they played New England last year that was like their 12th game of the season and that was with half of their first string out injured for most of that time.  Most all of those players will be coming back for the Bears game.

You might also want to keep another thing in mind.  The Colts picked up the best 3 college centers in the NFL draft this year.  Jeff Saturday is still staying at center, so those big boys are going other places on the offensive line where they will pummel your Bears defense trying to get to Manning.

And actually, concerning New England.  They don't rarely beat New England.  Yes, they lost to them last year.  But over the last 3-4 years, the Colts have beaten the Patriots more than the Patriots have beaten the Colts.  San Diego however is a different case, they typically beat the Colts most of the time.  But Indy doesn't play either of those teams until November.

The Colts will make the play-offs like they always do.  I kind of doubt your Bears will make the play-offs this year.  They at least should do a little better than last year since they are playing Orton instead of Grossman.

Anybody that knows Peyton Manning well knows he won't be rusty if he plays.  Even Madden said that when he was at the Colts summer camp and was watching the practices.  He's one of he most consistent passers in the NFL.

  7. Of course the Bears will beat the Colts Week 1. The Bears have something to prove, especially on defense. The Bears defense has not looked particularly good this preseason, but I think that has to do with them not showing many different schemes/coverages and the injured players from last year are still knocking off the rust. Peyton Manning might not play and even if he does he will be rusty. The Colts also have many other star players with injuries. Bears 23-Colts 16. Go Bears!!

  8. Even if the  Colt's"overated" QB plays, he'll be rusty and slow, I'd give Chicago a good chance. Just hope Chicago's QB situation was the right call. Give the Colts h**l. Thanks, PS. I'm a Jag's Fan.
