  1. No & I don't recall the Red Sox sweeping the Yankees for years Crystal.  Better check the fact on this before such a statement

  2. Hi My name is Biff ! If that darn Marty McFly hadn't have speed off with my sports Almanac I left in his Delorian and headed for the future I might have had that answer for ya!! too bad!

  3. No. I hope they win two. I hope Boston wins one.

  4. No, I don't think so.  The Yankees have been too hot lately to get swept, but it's possible that the Red Sox take 2 of 3 since it's at Fenway.

  5. I love to see it, But i doubt it  will happen .

better facts when yankees alwaays won the al east title.

the red sox had a better record on them now it flipflop.

  6. Being a Yankees fan I can't answer this question unbiased. I hope the Yankees sweep this weekend, but I feel that the series will be split, although I am not sure who will win two and who will win one...

  7. Neither team will sweep. Both teams are coming in too hot to be swept. That said, I expect the Sox to take two of three. Yet I wouldn't be shocked to see the Yankees steal a game they should have lost and come home with 2 of 3.

As for this assertion that the Red Sox have been killing the Yankees this decade: Nah. Sorry. Not the case. The Sox may have two rings, but they haven't exactly dominated the Yankees. In fact, the Yankees won the '07 season series between the two teams, 10 to 8. So kindly get your facts straight, folks.

  8. I don't think so Yankees are hot right Now. they have 6 in a row.

    Cano is on Fire

Great that Papi is back though will make this weakened very exciting

    i say Yanks take 2 0f 3

  9. Actually the only time the Red Sox have won the season series in this decade is 2004, so the first person to answer this question is quite lil' miss uninformed ...  the Yankees are 79-65 against Boston in the regular season, 7-7 in the postseason, 1-1 in postseason series ...  the only thing that Boston has the Yankees on this decade is World Series, and for Boston fans that say 'well that's what really matters', we know that .. that's why we've been doing it for 85 years, not 4 ..

however, just for the record, I have more respect for Red Sox fans than anyone else in sports ...  you're a dedicated bunch ...  to answer the question, neither team sweeps ...  I think Boston takes 2 of 3

btw, for Dana G ..  Mussina is spelled with two 's' first of all and second of all, he's not scheduled to pitch in the series ...  he just pitched yesterday ... and I wouldn't be so excited about getting to the Yankee bullpen anymore .. the have the lowest ERA in baseball over the past month and a half

  10. I love your humor!

  11. Actually, they could BE swept.

  12. umm definantly not

  13. I don't think so the Yankees have been doing really good lately.

  14. of course the sox will sweep the yankees, becuase the yankees SUCK

  15. I would love to see a sweep, but taking 2 out of 3 is probably more realistic! I think games 1 and 3 are almost sure things with Beckett in game 1 and Lester in game 3.

If the Sox can get to Musina early on Saturday, then the Skankees may be scrambling for bullpen help come Monday!
