...or are they too good at avoiding good enough draft picks to build a good enough team?

  1. You're right, Adelaide are always in the finals, they haven't had a really bad season for a long time. They never seem to be on the bottom of the ladder, and that means they don't get the good draft picks. I think it's starting to show now at Adelaide, with the lack of forwards that they have. I think that every team needs to have a bad season, before they can rebuild and have a real crack at a flag.

  2. doesn't look like its gonna happen this season. i wanna see the crows play Dangerfield, and see if he was worth being our first draft pick, instead of Ebert

  3. Well have they beaten anyone in the top 8 yet other than Sydney??

  4. Adelaide continuously make it into the finals, yet their finals campaign takes a wild turn and it doesnt turn out as adelaide would wish.

There is an immense amount of pressure on all afl teams when they enter a finals match, so the pressure and stress probably takes its toll on the adelaide crows too much. They are in some good form this year, and have won some really good matches, they are a definite finals chance and are strong enough to battle it out with a hawthorn or geelong team, i cant wait to see the crows win a premiership, mighty deservant of one!

  5. Probably not as the way that things are going, the last Saturday in September may end up being just another day!

  6. **I think if you give them a couple of years they'll be a chance for September again.  There are a few teams that are better than their current side so it won't happen in the next two or so years, but in time they will be good enough.

I say this as a long suffering Geelong supporter who is finally being rewarded after some tough years waiting for my team to develop and then to find the success.  It's worth it when it happens too.**

  7. Probably by about 2020, if Perth isn't underwater from global warming!!!!!   As If!!!!!!!!!

They will come good when they can get some stability around the club, the off field antics take a toll on the whole team, no matter what some may say. It's the same with many teams. get in the youngsters and let them mature a bit.

Looking forwards to Hille V Cox this week!
