  1. Nope, not this year

  2. If your a Cubs fan you unfortunatly just jinxed them so they now will once again disappoint the city of Chicago.

  3. h**l yeah we will!

  4. pitching in abundance = world series

    hitting consistently  = world series

    cubs have both = w s champions

  5. i think so right now, but there's a long way to go yet

  6. they got just as much of a chance, if not more in my opinion, then any other team in the league.

  7. In 100 more years.

  8. Goto the world series yes. Win...no

  9. well if history doesn't tell the tale......

you can ask my billy goat

    He says

"h**l NO" and steve bartman concurs

they won't make the playoffs, i predict that zambrano gets hurt, harden becomes the ace, but its not enough, and they fail to make the wildcard.

    GO CARDS

  10. No they are cursed.  They might make the World Series only to lose by some fan doing something extremely stupid or have the whole pitching staff come down with some sickness, either or take your pick.

  11. we've waited 100 years....

    so yes!! =]

  12. No, Yankees world champions 2008

  13. no. they already proved they will not fair well against the bigger teams of the AL when they got swept by tampbay, and remember, even if they do make the world series, the american league has home field advantage and the cubs are a very below average road team.

  14. NO WAY!!!!!!!!! GO DBACKS!!!!!!!!!!!

  15. I think they have to improve their road record..they are under .500 on the road and there will be four games on the road in the world series.

  16. I think this is their best year in a while to take the National League crown. But I see the Red Sox, Rays, Yankees, and Angels as all being better teams.

  17. NO GO PHILS!!!

  18. I think this year we put the goat curse to rest. Well part of it, they have the players to go to the world series but thanks to the NL,they don't have home field advantage so the Red Sox and Angels, who do very well in the playoffs at home could be an overwhelming factor to the Cubs. Everyone can count the Phillies out as of now but I don't think they have enough anyway. Cubs will probably make the ws,not win it.
