I really hope they do. then the cubs fans will stop whining about not having a world series for 100 years.  geez they are annoying.

The Cubs don't have a bandwagon. Maybe some. If you look at the attendance this year compared to two years ago when they got I think like 65 wins, the stadium was still getting filled.

I've been a Cubs fan my whole life and still watched as many games as possible even when they were one of the worst teams in the MLB.

well they aren't a lock yet, the Brewers are playing insanely well and the Cards are hanging in there too so its possible they don't even make the playoffs

Unlikely. They may be lovable losers but there's also another team in Chicago that suffered just as much but didn't see the numbers that the so-called Red Sox nation did when they won. Besides the BOSTON Red Sox also accept local area fans without teams of their own...and misguided and bitter Mets fans. The Sox are in fashion now...and that's not even including the fact that a majority of the Dominican population roots for them as well.

I am a die hard Cubs fan and have been since I can remember and it would pain me to see so many claiming that they have liked the Cubs for a long time when they just went out and bought that Cubbie hat that still has a tag on it

it's impossible to have a bigger bandwagon than the red sox right now.  i live across the country in so cal and when the red sox played the angels all their bandwagon fans here made me sick

doubt it.. the cubs have some diehard fans and all the bandwagon ones jumped on at the beginning of the season when they were playing very well and people started talking about World Series

i dont think its possible to ever overshadow the Red Sox bandwagon, considering you have no other team in the upper northeast states (Toronto is the closest and nobody wants to root for a perenial loser--sorry BJ fans)

oh and bwillz the patriot hater bandwagon is so big because the patriot bandwagon is the biggest in any sport
