  1. They should go back to the original Grand National . Name changes are getting old along with make up the rules as you go .

  2. Hey, here's an idea...

Unitl they make up their friggin minds why don't we just call it the NASCAR Championship Racing Series...

Has a nice ring doesn't it?????

    LOL...ring....

  3. While I hate fighting with Sprint every month on "billing" issues, (and will drop them soon), the name ain't all bad.

    The Sprint Cup.

However, NA$CAR will keep naming it what/whoever pay$ the mo$t.

NA$CAR Championship Cup $eries, doesn't sound bad, but won't make 'em any money. Keep "the Cup", it's been the one constant for years.

I do get tired of the "Name Change Game".

Even the drivers have trouble trying to remember what the name is of the series, this week.

It's kinda funny listening to the "after race" interviews, and hear the drivers keep correcting themselves, (Busch/Nationwide, etc)

  4. Chances are it will. The contract was with Nextel in the beginning, and then the switch to Sprint. Why wouldn't the change it again. My guess is when the contract is up we will see another company.

  5. no, because sprint singed a 7 year contract with nascar..... not to mention sprint bought clearwire......so for the next 7 years it will be the sprint cup only......

  6. Now we hear talk about T-Mobile taking over Sprint. Drama. It just never goes away, does it?

  7. Wow,another possible name change. MAN, I sure miss Winston. It sounded cool, and had no sponsor isues. Before long we'll be watching the Meow Mix Cup.
