Will the D&D Insider table top and character generator be compatable with 3.5 edition rules?

Not sure - if the generator and/or table top incorporate 4E powers/stats/etc., might be of limited use. If the generator only renders an image of the character and the tabletop does little more than handle movement/lighting/etc., could be compatible. Personally, I haven't seen anything beyond the preview given early in the year, so don't have any details (other than the availability date continues to slip).
