Question:

Will the Desmodeci clock over 220MPH like the 990 did on Sunday?

Last year the 06 Desmodeci broke the 220MPH limit at Mugello. With the new bike [only] been an 800CC, will it have the corner-speed to get a good run on to the start finish straight, in order for it to beat this 990CC machine?

  1. No..the top speed is only 205...even with a good drive..i'll be surprised if they reach 220

china's straight is longer than mugello...maybe 220 in someone's slip stream..but the way things are going..he won't be in anyone's slip stream...riders can't even stay in his..

also, in 2006...china had faster times than mugello on the straights...maybe some sort of indication..who knows

i assume we are just talking straights...lap times are definitely faster but we are talking top speeds

don't get me wrong..i'd like to see 220..especially on a duc..either way..it will be interesting...

now..we need to get the same following in the Usa

  2. its already posted better lap times at a few tracks

it gets out of the corners better with a higher corner speed
