  1. In 1987, interest rates on home loans went up 2% in 4 days.  I don't remember reading one article warning me that was going to happen.  I subscribe to all the mortgage banking publications.

    In 1995 they went up 1% overnight.  No one predicted it at all.

    There's a lesson from that.

  3. I think it might go down a little but it's going to go up to around 8% the end of the year.

  4. Rates for FHA loans fluctuate just like conventional loan rates.  There is no way to know, but the consensus seems to be that rates will rise over the next year.
