Will the GeForce 9600 GT fit my motherboard?!?

Question

Okay, so I decided to get the GeForce 9600 GT video card. Its a dual layer as shown here on newegg:

The major problem is that I dont think it will fit inside, I've posted up some pictures of the inside of my tower where my video card and mother board are connected so i hope you guys can CLEARLY take a REALLY CLOSE look and help me. Let me know whether the video card I'm urging to get is going to fit inside my computer or not.

I want to get this video card, dont give me suggestions on ATI or anything else, ---MY MAIN CONCERN IS WHETHER IT WILL FIT---

If it doesn't the best you can do is relocate the air flow of the HSF, install a vent and create an airflow so it can get air while it's covered by the video card.

Mine was a tight fit as well, just be careful and use SPEEDFAN to watch the temps. The temps will tell you if it works or not, It's the most safe route you can take since it'll warn you before it malfunctions.

You're right, it looks like a tight fit.  I had similar concerns with my video card when I built my latest system, but luckily it made it.  You might try calling Newegg and giving them the make and model of your motherboard and see if they have any data or input on that particular combo.  I've found them to be really helpful.  They seem (at least in my experience) to have plenty of builders on staff who can give good advice on components.

I can't tell what type of slot your old card is in if it is not a  PCI 16 then room doesn't matter from the looks I would have to say no
