It will probably only reach the minimum requirements of new games. You will be able to play with an average frame per second on low settings. If you want better performance and quality i recommend spending more bucks on 8800GT 512MB (around $150)

Yes, but only just, and at minimum resolutions without AA or AF. It's getting a bit long in the tooth these days. If you want to play high-end games, no, it won't. Medium end - no, it won't. Simple games - yes.
