they would probably be 3rd or 4th seed. other teams will be looking out for them and so will get less wins.

last year the teams were too focused on seed placings that nobody was really looking at them plus the gasol shaq and kidd trades distracted the other teams.

this year everyone will be looking to shoot them down.

Yes. They probably won't make it to the top of the Western Conference, but with Chris Paul running the point and David West being a solid contributor, they have a very great chance of being one of the top teams in the Western Conference.

They should be just as good or Better, rember that was just Chris Pauls 3rd season, and it was also David Wesleys break out year...They got a few playoff games under their belt (1 game shy of western conference finals) and added Posey in the off season, They will be in the playoffs, the only way I could see them missing, is if Paul goes down with an injury

yes i think they will...you saw the cavs make it to eastrn conf. finals with only lebron and other then booby gibson scrubs...i think any team with chris paul can make it to the play-offs. also, the hornents have a better supporting cast for a superstar like paul then the cavs had for Lebron.

Also haveing made the play-offs last year gave experience to this young team

Yes they will I actually think that they're going to be NBA champs next year because of their lineup i mean Chris Paul, Morris Peterson, Peja Stojakavic, David West, and Tyson Chandler. And now they have James Posey on their bench along with Julian Wright, and now  I heard they might be looking at Ron Artest

Yeah I think they will. They have a really good team with Chris Paul and Peja Stoyokivich. Also they just signed James Posey. I am a Celtics fan and Posey was a really good bench player. But anyways I think they have a really good chance of making the playoffs. :)

Yes, and they did get better to a certain point...  they're draft pick PG is doing great in Summer League, they signed Posey, but that dosen't leave room for Bonzi Wells, so the continuty there is gone, and there is a glut at SF with West, Stoyakovic, and Posey, which isn't a bad thing if theres no complainning.  They will need more C presense on defense because the west is getting bigger and thicker.  But yeah they'll make the playoffs easy, and will probably have the overall best record in the west.

They will definitely make it to the playoffs. The only way they would not is if all of their starters got injured, which I think won't happen. They might even make it to the finals, although I don't want them to.
