  1. they have won 16 out of their last 20, so yea they have a shot at the wild card if they keep it up.  It would take a little luck from the cardinals and brewers falling apart, but its possible.

  2. Doubtful. As many teams do, the Astros let too many key players go. It may be a year or two before they see another post-season.

  3. Sorry to burst your bubble but the Cubs are not gonna let up. And I think you know that.

  4. i highly doubt it the brewers are doing too well for the astros too make it in the wild card. and the cubs WILL not lose first place they are just too good

  5. No. The Cubs and Brewers will.

The Astros have no talent compared to Chicago and Milwaukee

  6. I highly doubt it. The Cubs are doing way too well for the Astros to be able to catch up, and if the Cubs failed for some weird reason, the Cardinals and Brewers would have to too. And then the Astros would have to win a whole lot of games. There only chance would be the wild card, but there really is no chance there with the Brewers doing really well, and the Cardinals starting to come back.

  7. It seems like the Astros excellent effort this past week was at the wrong time. Unfortunately their 8 or 9 game winning streak did not gain them too much ground only because the wild card leader, The Brewers, had their own 8 game winning streak. And the division leader, The Cubs,  have taken I think 10 out of the last 13. I think they have a better chance taking the wild card then the division, but even the wild card seems like galaxies away because they would have to over take the  Brewers and Cards.

  8. Too little too late - not since the Brewers got hot.

  9. STUPID QUESTION GIVE IT UP!

  10. I think NO because Brewers have the Wild Card.

  11. i think they can with their 3 all stars mcgrady yao and artest but i dont think they will go very far

  12. That old battle cry has been coming from the Astros dugout for several weeks now, "just wait until next year".

  13. No, I'm sorry to say for your sake, as it sounds like your an Astros fan.  2008 is not your year.

Right now, the NL Central contenders are the Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers and St. Louis Cardinals, however, unless the Brewers or Cubs go on any long losing streak, the Cardinals are slipping out contention.

My prediction:  Cubs win the NL Central and the Brewers win the Wild Card.

  14. It would take a near perfect "September to Remember" for them to make the playoffs. The odds of that are not good.

  15. sorry houston has some good players but 12.5 games behind the cubs is sort of bad sorry maybe houston will make it next year who knows
