  1. Well McGrady will have good help in Artest. Still you have two injury prone superstars and a unreliable number three guy. Good role players in Scola, Alston, Battier and now. Pretty loaded if Yao and Tracy stay healthy.

What are the chances that Peja can stay healthy for the Hornets. Odds are he will miss at least half the season and Chandler as well as Paul have had trouble staying healthy. Posey could make a diffrence, especially in the playoffs.

I wonder if the Hornets can improve even without injuries. Houston may have chemistry problems. I doubt either team will win more than 55-57 games (nothing wrong with that). I expect injuries to hit both teams. I think Houston will win a few games more than the Hornets. As to how far they can get in the playoffs, seeding and injuries mightl be key for both teams.

It would surprise me if the Rockets really get it done but they could get out of the gate fast, build confidence and chemistry and have the kind of regular season that the Celtics had last year, the talent and depth are there.

I have a hunch that the Hornets played as well as they could last year. Maybe that is good enough to reach the finals but I think they will be forced to change things up before they improve.

  2. good question

With the addition of Artest I hope the Rockets will make it to at least the second round of the playoff (they'll make the playoffs)

hornets did very well last year, and they're young, so they could make a good run

Right now, with health and age, I say the Hornets do better, but Kobe and the lakers are still better, especailly with Bynum coming back

  3. they'll definitely be strong both in the video games and in reality, as long as all their players are healthy all throughout the season. with artest and battier playing together, their ability to stop opponents perimeter players are absolutely on an A+ level right now. if artest is having a bad night defensively, battier can help him out, vice versa. another thing that makes this team way better than last year is because of the young players that had help them with 22 in a row. having been able to acquire much needed experience from last years campaign, the big men are as deep as their small forwards. another thing that will help the rockets in next year's campaign is the fact that they've acquired the reliable veteran brent barry, whom not only can play the sf position, he can also take the point whenever the situation asks him to. and with yao coming back from last year's injury, there are certainly endless possibilities for tmac and the rockets next year. who knows, next year might be the year where tmac will get past the 1st round.

  4. its hard to predict, you'll never know what might happen.

  5. No, the Hornets rule

  6. depends, if they r injury free, than yes and if artest stays out of trouble than yes. htink about it. they already have a good defense team, but with the addition of artest, then its gonna be crazy. The big three plus Luis scola and Alston, that is nuts

  7. hard question they have a chance

  8. No....I think New Orleans will win the west this year. Last year was not a flop. I wish they would have beat the Spurs.

    T-Mac will probly get hurt

Hornets only improved by picking up James Posey

  9. Yes because the Rockets are going to have bad chemistry and will not win their 22 or whatever in a row
