  1. No - they are too small for anyone major to care about.  Besides, the top fighters from IFL are already fighting in other leagues.

Ben Rothwell fought Arlovski in Affliction - I believe this is outside his IFL contract.

Mike Dolce left the IFL to fight on The Ultimate Fighter / UFC

Reese Andy and Brad Blackburn - both former IFL guys- are now UFC fighters.  So the top talent from IFL is already abandoning ship.

Zuffa or Elite won't need to buy the IFL out.  There's nothing to buy but a failing brand name.  Once the league is gone, the fighters are free of their contracts. The whole thing really sucks for the IFL fighters - they don't really have any negotiating power right now, and they can't get better deals outside the IFL - for the time being anyway.

  2. The IFL already folded, the UFC signed some of the top fighters from that organization. A couple of them fought just last saturday, Brandon Vera just fought a guy from there.

  3. Rumor is that the UFC is already looking into buying them out. Additional info is supposed to be coming out in the near future.

  4. Maybe, possibly EliteXC,  but I think Affliction is to new to be buying anything else right now.
