I have read in the past couple of days that the IFL has 2 or 3 of the UFC's Heavyweight fighters now (maybe more). They are going to be having a pay-per-view event with Fedor and Trump is helping out now too. Do you think they will be able to survive or will they go under???

  1. Affliction (the clothes brand) has their own organization now. The International Fight League (IFL) use to have 12 teams New York Pit Bulls, Silverbacks, etc. It now broke up into camps

  2. I think you're actually thinking about Affliction and not the IFL. This Saturday is the Affliction card.

Fedor will be fighting Tim Sylvia. Also on the card are Andrei Arlovski from UFC heavyweight champ, and former contender Paul Buentello.

In my opinion Affliction will do quite well. As far as I'm concerned they're the first organization besides Pride that is really going to give the UFC some competition.

  3. You are slightly confused my friend.

You are talking about the new Affliction organization, they have an event this Saturday July 19th, the main event is Fedor Emelianenko vs Tim Sylvia. Other fighters in the same card are Vitor Belfort, Terry Martin, Babalu, Mike Whitehead, Andrei Arlovski, Ben Rothwell.

That's the one Donald Trump is involved in.

The IFL is the MMA organization that do a team-based format, they are not doing well, even though they have some good fighters.
