I'm a Jets fan wayy before Brett Favruh got here....and no we won't be making the Superbowl, and lucky to make the playoffs in the tough AFC (where teams can go 10-6 and still miss the playoffs). But seriously you people need to stop asking stupid questions like this.

They won't even make the playoffs. It's true they're in a division with two incredibly weak teams, and Favre is a marked upgrade from the Pennington/Clemens mire they were wallowing in before, but this is a team that needs more than a 39-year-old risktaker in order to see the postseason. They're still quite average at running back and wideout, and their defense is only adequate (if their secondary is even that). They'll go about 9-7, and in the AFC that's not a Wild Card berth.

Probably not the super bowl, but they have a legit shot at making the playoffs now. The Jets have a solid defense, they've improved their O-line and if Brett plays like he did last year then they will have a solid passing game. They have addressed their biggest weakness so theirs no reason they can't compete.

Why would they? Brett Favre hasn't won the super bowl for the packers in how many years?? Just cuz he's a good QB doesnt mean that its a good team. The whole team is what gets you to the superbowl.

Did the pats win just because they have Tom Brady? or did the colts win just because they have Payton Manning. The answer is no. He couldn't get it done in Green bay, What makes you think he can get it done in New york. Plus Green bay has more talent than the jets do. Also it takes more than a good QB to go to the super bowl, Just ask any Giants player about that. If your a jets fan, just worry about getting to the playoffs first, not the super bowl.

No, but they might luck out and have a shot at the playoffs if they can work out the bugs and get to know each others quirks. If he doesn't retire again maybe next year they can do it.
