In running condition? Its been 10 yrs and over $1,000,000.00 in rebuilding costs. And its still sitting at Scranton, PA's Steamtown shop in pieces.

What is going on here?

The lastest update I heard is that the Pacific is still scheduled to be restored into operating condition and the person overseeing the restoration was recently fired because he was taking entirely too much time with each and every aspect of the restoration process.  Hopefully she will run again soon!
