  1. I think they already have a GM because it looks like Fletcher's making a run for the job. Coach, not so much.

  2. Does it really matter? Seriously....

They havent bought anyone out yet! They have no coach and no direction. They have a TEMP GM.... I mean seriously.. like its going to get fixed over the summer?

  3. Not likely, but then Fletcher is capable of handling the draft anyway. For this year's draft, I'd like to see them take a real good player that is not quite ready to make the jump. Not sure exactly who that player is yet, maybe another Russian with exit problems.

IMO, the Leafs would be better off to take as much time as is needed to get the right guy. If that means one more year waiting for Burke, then wait that year. This would be a good time to really stink the place out, clear out the dead-wood, and take a shot at getting Tavares or some of the other hot shots that are going to be available next draft. The Leafs are not in a real good position to rapidly improve in one season, no Philly type turn around here, as I see it. As long as they're this close to the bottom and can't fix everything in one year, they would be better off to take the time to build a great team than to try and build another half-assed rush job that can't crack the top ten.

  4. Can pigs fly? (excluding anything you may have seen associated with Pink Floyd)
