Will the Marines fly you back to your state after boot camp?

It's my understanding that you get 10 days leave after graduation from boot camp.  You will be responsible for  your own travel if you decide to take leave and go home.  They would probably send you to your next training camp for no charge if you don't take leave.

No... You may not even get to go home until you complete infantry training, which follows boot camp.  But, no...you are on your own.  Now, depending where you are, Marines try to go home from wherever they are stationed.  From Camp Lejune, going to Philly, New York, even Boston are routine trips.

If you live more than that distance, however, you might want to try to get to an airbase, where you might be able to catch a flight; that's haphazard and random, but it's worth a try.
