Then threatening the auto industry into moving even more production jobs overseas to avoid making fuel efficient vehicles.

Then planting polititians in Alaska to vote for drilling up ANWAR...

Then starting a war in Georgia to frighten Americans into thinking that we would be facing another Cold War.

And Finally appointing a PTA member and 2 year Governor to sit at the head of Congress???

EPA standards apply to cars sold in US, not manufactured.  

Politicians don't need to be planted in Alaska.  They are already growing.

Starting war with Georgia would be Hot not Cold war.  (Georgia is on our side, by the way.  It is Russia that invaded and still occupy parts of Georgia)

Gov. Palin will be elected as Vice President and will assume role of President of the Senate, not appointed.

Why don't you go check your facts and re write the question. Palin has been no friend to the oil industry. As governor of Alaska she raised the tax on oil companies and gave the money back to the tax payers.

Gramm also made it possible for speculators to unfairy raise the price of oil futures, when he unregulated the market. Did you know ever since he deregulated the energy futures market back in 2000, the amount of speculative trades in the oil futures market has doubled from 31% to 72%?
